We feel strongly about acknowledging the traditional owners of the land on which we farm, the Gumbaynggirr people.

For us as farmers, we feel that the best way that we can start to address the injustices that have occurred on these lands is to grow and provide subsidised produce for our local Gumbaynggirr mob… Our way of ‘paying the rent.’ We hope to facilitate healthy eating in the indigenous community by making it more accessible, with affordable, nutritious produce.

We are offering half priced veggie boxes for the Gumbaynggirr community. For $15, you will received a mixed box of vegetables worth about $30. The vegetables will be grown on our farm, or by local farmers that we work with. The produce is seasonal so will change every week. We will aim to include recipe ideas for inspiration when we can!

Boxes can be ordered & paid for online from Sunday at 3pm until Tuesday at 3pm. They can be collected from Jaanymili Bawrrungga on Wednesday afternoon 3pm-5pm. We also offer home delivery for those who live in town in Bowraville on Wednesday at around 3pm.

As we are a small farm, we only have a limited number of veggie boxes so get in early to avoid missing out. If you’re a local Gumbaynggirr person, you can order your veggie box here.

If you recognise the value of this program and would like to contribute, we are accepting donations so that we can make more veggie boxes available for the indigenous community. You can make a donation here while shop is open between Sunday 3pm – Tuesday 3pm.

If you have produce available that you would like to contribute, please contact us here.
